These aluminium Soldier Sets are a replacement for conventional timber soldier sets and are 7 times stiffer and 8 times stronger than F17 hard wood.
Timber soldier sets should be made from green hardwood less than 3 months of age in order to not snap under load like dry timber. Allowing them to bend and make a noise as they come under load prior to breaking, providing advance warning of imminent danger.
